Indiana Steel is the voice of our statewide steel industry through a commitment to improving environmental policies and to advocating the positive economic impact steel has on the workforce throughout Indiana.
Working hand-in-hand with steel manufacturers, state legislators, and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management — Indiana Steel pushes for change through our state and federal government processes.
While the steel industry has been booming in 2020-21, Indiana Steel felt as though the organization needed to improve its local influence through the development of a new brand identity, improved website, and a unified voice to represent the workforce and community.
